My name is Destiny Thompson
I am currently completing my Bachelor's degree in Deaf Education at Georgia State University. My intense passion for teaching and advocating for those with disabilities has led me to create this website as a project for a class.
While making this platform, I acknowledged and accepted my hearing privilege. I want to support the Deaf Community by amplifying their voice, not taking them away. I used extensive research and knowledge from my courses to provide you with a deep analysis of language deprivation in Deaf and hard-of-hearing children.
